1. It resets you. The vibrations from the gong resets the energy meridians and brings them into balance, releasing any tension and blocks. Mentally, the gong fills the space with total sound and cuts out the extra clutter, allowing the mind to reset and open for clear thoughts. So if you've been stuck at a standstill on a project or can't seem to fall asleep at night, let the gong bath reset you. Much like you restart your computer or phone when it's not working right.
2. It heals you. The sounds from the gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. They create a deep relaxation and state of meditation by altering brain waves from the wake state to deep meditation. It's during these frequencies that we access our deep subconscious and can selfheal. Don't get me wrong, it won't heal your broken arm in a single 2hr session, but it might help open and alleviate your allergies or chronic headaches.
3. It reduces stress. Once the body falls into the deep meditative and peaceful state it slows down the heart and respiratory rate, creating a therapeutic effect on the body and mind. This is when the brain waves and body synchronize, balance is restored and stress is released. Basically you fall into a conscious sleep and let everything go (and even if you fart no one will hear because of sounds of the gong)
4. It stimulates circulation. The vibrations reach the body on a cellular level. It breaks up blockages and tension increasing your circulation. As they say, "Out with the bad, in with the good!
